Wow, an agreement that leads to an increase in workload and a decrease in pay, I'm stunned

i'll wait and see exactly what it says before i can make up my mind, im guessing the outcome will be a yes vote like 2007 cos all people see is the lump sum bonus, nevermind that in 12 months time we would already have earned more than the lump sum doing door to doors but people cant see that. I voted no in 2007 and probably will again.

Re: The new agreement, how will you vote?
im voting no, as im fed up being pissed around, and its taken 3 plus months to agree to that deal!
I could have taken my under garment s off the first day , then offered to be pumped stupid on the same day, saving the 4 months anticipation, what a disgrace,
all our own money used to finance the deal, share money has gone down a fortune, loss of shift allowance, more d to d and less money, and a standard working week to boot. Then, a piss poor pay deal over near 4 years!!!!Only bringing my wage up to what i could/should be earning now, and they want me to be more efficient too.
Christ , say my day off is wed this week, id work mon, tue thurs fri and sat am.
This gives me half sat off, sun and my full day off!
Why would i vote for a standard ,longer five day week?Giving me, less time off-Just 2 full days!
bollocks to it all
IM HOPING FOR AN OVERWHELMING NO, BUT DOUBT IT,

REMEMBER! It took them four months to come up with this pile of donkey s**t?
What were they doing again? Oh yes....

Personally I do not blame Royal Mail. What they have pulled off makes brilliant buisness sense. Our Union?

Re: The new agreement, how will you vote?
Absolutely NO...
only a moron would think this is a "deal", let alone a good deal.....
Who the feck has voted yes on this straw poll here???
it's a deal beyond parody, they really think we're cretins...
I have stood by CWU , but if this deal as I downloaded this morning stands, I've lost confidence....BUT, I want to take IA....

This has to be a NO vote.
Would the CWU or Royal Mail fudge the result though?
I seem to remember something about missing ballot papers in 2007

If thats the choice then bring on the "EXECUTIVE ACTION".
I would rather fight them at the gate even if it's just me than accept this and have it thrown in my face that "you voted for it".

Re: The new agreement, how will you vote?
we should be against any pay deal that runs for more than a year in priciple. Who knows what government or inflationary pressures will be in force during a 3 year period?
Just as worrying is that these clowns negotiating for us, either truly believe they got us a great deal or are working as double agents for Crozier and Mandy.
