Personally i love the way that the whole lump sum (that some were looking forward to so much) is actually our own money anyway. I mean come on that takes some sort of ingenuity to negotiate dosent it?

"We want to bring everybodys actual performance up to the level of the top 10%"
That's my personal favourite.
Never mind your age or capabilities.
What kind of union agrees to this nonsense?

Re: my best part of the new agreement.
I've just read it all, and there are just so many great parts to pick from. Here are a few of my favourites i've written down to share with my co-workers on Monday:
6 day standardised workplan - Say goodbye to your season tickets
D2D 52 weeks a year - don't forget your 20% on Xmas Eve
This ones a banger - A D2D product targeting specific days, inc Saturdays.
£20.60 a week for a million D2D, and included in that is your shift allowance
£400 shares money paid on a yes vote - you know, the shares money that's yours anyway
2%, 1.4% and 3.5% pay rises - thats good then, by 2012 we might just about be earning what we are now after losing out on D2D money.
Colleage shares are currently valued at £536 per employee, paid equally in both 2011 + 2012. Where's the 5 grand figure disappeared to?
Even the £1000 lump sum actually isn't that at all, it's paid in 3 parts when your office gets raped (sorry revisions)

I've been a critic of the CWU recently, and left as a member after the Way Forward and P&M 2007 agreements - tbh I feel fully justified in not giving them my £3 a week after reading that total load of tripe. It's disgusting.

damn. I missed out on reading this. So it turns out to be more "sale of the century" than "deal of the century".
as we all knew it would be.

These twats have actually agreed to this??? We went on strike for this?? This is surelly a wind up?? If not everyone vote "NO" simples. more work for less pay. These pay rises arnt exactly that are they, more like inflation rises, bear in mind we aint had a f****r for 2 years. And yes where this 5 k collegue shares disapeared to?? Oh and they can stick thier 1000 pound up thier arses.
Vote no everybody cause that is the worse deal i have ever seen seriously. Think of all the shite they have you doing now,ie absorbing etc and what ever else the union have agreed to they will throw at us for LESS pay. Vote no its the only way.
Tell em f**k off and ballot for industrial action again. Should of stayed out over xmas time but the union bottled it.

never got a chance to read it! What ive heard so far sounds like Michael Foot(RIP) brokered the deal- cause this must be the longest suicide note in history!
4 month without a peep out the bastards and then then they all have a jolly up in a bournemouth hotel!
More champagne Mr Ward?...

Re: my best part of the new agreement.
Voting NO - is similar to voting YES.. .. the NO vote is just a better deal.
one day part timers will have the same right as full timers
