RE: Shift Allowance

It can go to basic, The Truth talks codswallop!!

Its a matter of will!!!

Take the total amount paid out and divide it equally onto wages of all OPG's, yes it would mean winners and loosers but we would all have the same rate of pay. As staff levels go down every 6 months the figures can be re caculated to ensure all 28 million is hitting the paypacket of OPG's and not going to RML.

20 pounds including shift money for dtd will cause uproar in my D.O just like many others, are the CWU PEC really that daft :hmmmm

I shall be keeping :silenced in the morning, its way too controversial to go public without facts and evidence and ruin everybodys weekend.

The workload needs to be judged on the full mojo as well - and don't forget your pay under this agreement is practically stationary for the next 3 years.

Exactly dvbuk55

Is our pay package a suitable match for the job we will be asked to do?

Me too.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

I think that has always been a valid point BD - yes we want good working conditions, yes we want to be treated fairly BUT we also want a fair days pay for a fair days work. In fact that should be the banner for the next industrial action, and I can't see it being that far away if some of these rumours are true.

Without door to door I get gross pay of £280, take out my Shift money and add on the supplement and i will have £296 gross and will be doing my doors to dustbins rather than letting my floater do them all. Sounds naff, but hey lets have some faith that basic pay increase will make it all worthwhile :chuckle
