Tell you what how about a 5 day delivery so RM can get rid of more Jobs! Your are only paid for 40 hours a week there are 168 hours in a week. That leaves 128 hours to have a life! As for missing footy! If you did not have the job you couldn't afford the bloody season ticket. Did you really think that things were going to stay the same. Every job in every industry is under pressure. Now if you want to address the situation you have to change the political steer of labour party because the Tories are chaffing at the bit to get at us! They remember the 1990s! I also can't see any future industrial action which is long term (all out until?) allowing us to stay as we are. Pick and choose your time don't rush head down because that usually ends up with a police baton around the head!

Amazing how we have one chap who takes forever to do his delivery in the week, come Saturday he is the first out the door moaning if others are slow!

Assuming you just work 40 hours a week, some people have to work more to cover the bills.. Plus based on an average 7hours sleep per night = 49hours in bed, which leaves just 79 hours, then take off time for eating, pissing, shitting, washing, shopping, house-work and any other mundane day-to-day tasks you may or may not do - it drops even further.
Plus factor in that some people have kids to pick up during the week means they can't do anything mid/late afternoon when they finish work. After trudging the streets for 3.5+ hours probably too knackered in an evening. Day off is nice but chances are the partner is working and kids are at school (I can find things to do, so that doesn't bother me). Maybe Saturday but by the time we finish it's too late to travel anywhere and do anything worthwhile. Sunday, the day of rest
