Well that sounds simple enough - pretty sure to sell itself - especially if it needs two days of brainwashing to get it across to almost every uncle tom cobley and all.The truth! wrote:For the record there are 90 pages. So happy Reading when you get it ! That does not include guidelines !

Brainwashing is not on the agenda just yet. But the agreement is very complex including the mtsf changes so it's only right the agreement is explained and reps are allowed to ask questions and express their opinions and then the debate will start in branchs and then the members will decide !

whats happening with our saturdays . everyone wants an early finish on a saturday people have kids to see or hobbies like football. thats why many people took this job. why cant we be mon-fri and let saturday be an overtime day or let part timers pick up extra work on this day. that way everyone is happy . its not rocket science or dont we get a say in the matter. in eire its a mon-fri job and it works really well any suggestions on putting this idea to dave ward and billy hayes

That's longer than Roy Mayall's book. The truth! wrote:For the record there are 90 pages. So happy Reading when you get it ! That does not include guidelines !
Couldn't we just read that and then vote?
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

As it now must have been agreed why not release it now so everyone can read it before the briefing.
That way all will know in advance and ask the right questions

It may end up however unlikley that the PEC throw it out or seek amendments and that would be the focus of the NB.

No! Because all those things that you're not going to like will need explaining to you, just to show you how beneficial it will be for you and how you haven't really lost anything and that you stand to gain so much - but that will need explainingclashcityrocker wrote:That's longer than Roy Mayall's book. The truth! wrote:For the record there are 90 pages. Maybe we should adapt the "Onward Christian Soldiers" tune to something more apt for our present situation - likefishtank wrote:dvbuk55 wrote:No! Hey that's interesting - maybe I could pop down with one of those trays they used to have in the cinema selling "rubber goods" and lubricant - if it's going on the exes' there should be room for a good mark up.Wessex wrote:Isn't the hotel in Niverton Road when I lived down there 25 years ago it was Bournemouths Red Light district. Not that I would know of course
