How long's your sentence ?

17 years for me. started as a cadet. They were good years!
Delivery for most of them. two stints as a driver. two years of nights.
I even did three months at spring gardens in center of manchester as
a PA, in the information systems management department (computers).
what an insight too how the other half live. but that was 15 years ago, and wouldn't
go back if you paid me double.
Also remember my first day being trained on a driving duty, the driver who was training
me told me too go and finish off some parcels on the high Street. Anyway too cut along story
short on my way back in, i wrote off the van. that was rather fun looking back, but not at the time.

Got my 10 years service certificate in April. Even though it's now a shite firm to work for, I'm actually really proud of that framed piece of paper

Done deliveries and 3 years on nights doing just about everything,which I never ever want to do again, hate doing nights! Can't drive and don't like coffee so could never be a driver.

there was no need for the last bit you frame leaner, the only reason you dont drink coffee is you were too lazy to fetch it and too tight to buy it and is that my old mate eddie the edd i see

Have a look next time you're on the top floor and see how many drivers there are without a coffee in their hand

As for Eddie the ed, sure is! Saw them at Download with RJ last month.

when you are there till 7 in the evening you need your cafine remember drivers do full days

18 long years, started on deliveries then onto driver collection then driver rural now back to a good ole business town delivery

can't say for one min it's all been bad though only lately since they started employing idiots to run office's and the company

I done 7 years at Herne Bay-deliveries, then had 10 year break for the kids, decided to come back, been back now 4 years, oh how things have changed

Have clocked up 12yrs 10mths so far, still wondering why I'm still here! If I'd committed murder, I'd have gotten out earlier with good behaviour!!!!! Started on a walk then collections, pouch drops then finally, firms delivery. Could'nt agree more with you kinmad4it, got a lovely little cup holder in my van and a Greggs cup fits just right...... and so's the coffee! Proper job, as we say in Bristle!

Started at Parcelforce driving, then at an RSC then switched when they closed the parcels network down.
