l.o mate, you need to get amongst the strike breakers and convince them that yours mine and every other postal workers chances of success in this dispute is being gutted by them,we had two strike breakers in my office,i kinda pulled them to one side and explained things to them..(scraping away all the r.mail bulls**t and both of them went out for the second strike.Down to 1 now..he's being protected by the screws cos given half the chance he'd be wormfood in a non literal sense..

just like to say more people now out in darlington in last two strike days as they realise that they are treated like sh**te by mangers after they have crossed picket lines.

Good news but we feel left out as we were 100% out both days so we won't be able to improve our figures.

And that's the way they'll be treated all the time if Leighton & Crozier get their way.petercostello wrote:just like to say more people now out in darlington in last two strike days as they realise that they are treated like sh**te by mangers after they have crossed picket lines.

strike at darlington
I had to work from 8:00 till 16:00 yesterday. I counted about 10 strike breakers on the afternoon part of the shift. The managers to be fair left us alone so we didn't have to work with them. Some of these people I considerd as mates, why do they bother talking to me and informing me how much overtime they are getting, and other stupid remarks about how they wish they could afford to have morals. These people should be kicked out of the union.
