If managers are doing walks (postman's work). Who is doing the mangers work.
Cant we get rid of some of the managers & employ more postmen + we would save £`s and maybe get a nice little bonus.

Think about it for a minute. Your DOM has x amount of managers on fulltime hours with little work to do after you lot have gone out. Would he 'grass' his own troops up to the DSM and lose them, or would he/she use them to deliver mail on their salaried wages; no extra money to be paid out so office budget looks good to his/her DSM and they have the walk/duty covered at NO COST. How much now of a rush do you think DOM's are in to get rid of their excess managers??? Mmmmmm I thought so :Very Happy

Offer DOMs 30 pieces of silver for each lineo, and management levels would reduce by 90% in 5 minutes!
I don't suppose your mouth bleeds every 28 days, does it?

Mail delivery; those that can, do, those that can't, MANAGE!

So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

I remember a certain manager getting sent out on a walk, they had never done a delivery before but were always saying things like "there's not enough work on that walk to justify cutting off" and "I don't believe your working at the required rate". After managing to do HALF of the delivery said manager spent the next few days off sick :left:
