Not sure as none of them apply to me ;-)

I'll go for a 4 day week though as it'll give me more time to do what I do now, with no time :-)
Run, rabbit run. Dig that hole, forget the sun.
And when at last the work is done. Don't sit down, it's time to dig another one

Remember, rotating day off's do not apply to reserves. In fact nothing applies to us.

A weekend off would be nice occassionally by occassionally I mean more than twice a year.

4 Day week,it's the nuts.

But baring in mind the majority of us work for 5 days, the rolling rest day is the fairest.

None of this fixed day off crap! :no no

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

5 weeks on, 1 week off, 6 day week

i'm never more than 2 1/2 weeks away from a week off and with annual leave included i'm got about 3 months off each year

as a possible bonus to this, if we DO get a supplement for d2d included in the deal then i've getting paid for 1/3 more than i accually deliver

The nine day fortnight looks pretty good, 4 days off every fourth weekend, 8hr 45 minutes a day (if 40 minutes comes off working week) I'd bite their hands off if that was offered.

In order to have a 4 day week I thought posties had to accept a longer delivery.
If the walks are going to increase under any new deal then to still have a 4 day week, you would have to have an even longer delivery span.
How would that be possible?
Who would want to do it?

Five six-day weeks, then rest week. That's the one for me.
