Re: UPDATE FROM HQ
I think the point is - a 4.5 hr delivery is not a realistic option for most people.pdmdanny wrote: so you prefer to spend 4.5 hours in the office with your DOM ?
Day in day out in all weathers without a proper independent assessment of the workload is a non starter for most people.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Re: UPDATE FROM HQ
4.5 is very bad,our office done, before exec act took our 4 day weeks away,4hr walks, and the only saving grace was the extra time off.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Surely it's only a done deal if the membership vote for it? Or am I missing something about democratic principles and collective bargaining?dingo wrote:The deal will be done tonight even if it takes all night !

You are quite right Fishtankfishtank wrote: The agreement will not in my opinion have ANY single span.

It will depend what ratio of f/t to p/t you want in your office within the 75/25 ratio that might be in the official agreement.

Re: UPDATE FROM HQ
I personally am now dreading " the new agreement" i hope it takes another 6 mnths keep the status quo
at least you know what to do on a daily basis????????????
only joking BRING IT ON let the dog
see the rabbit and judge it accordingly it will take a lot of READING all 60+ pages then make your vote (pec permitting)
I just hope and prey
that there is not tooo much LOCAL AGREEMENT placed into it
