looks to me as if there sh*tting there pants at what they are trying to sell us.....my fear is that the d2d is a important part of the deal and if we are offered less than what we get for them now and that the only way this will get through is if the mc get offered the payment as well rm could well have a 20,000 head start on delivery staff for a yes vote...divide and conquer...again the tactic

I Will and I urge everyone who is going to be working for RM for anything longer than 6 months, to do the same. Everyone should know exactly how the AGREEMENT is going to affect their working life, and, more importantly, it means you will know if local management is trying to scam you.

you may be right,but by the time RM are finished,us MC staff will prob number around 8000!! who's going to vote themselves onto the dole for a few quid?!?

The delivery supplement will not be offered to MC staff.
If it was it would simply encourage more delivery staff to vote against the agreement.
Besides your right hubbahubba if the rumors are true MC staff will have enough to worry about.

ONE MEMBER HAS RIGHTLY SAID A LOAN THAT WE WOULD NOT NEED IF THE OTHER TWO WERE SORTED OUT! Everything else is a patch to pay for THEIR MISTAKES that will fail! Whilst we give the opposition a foothold to do us in!

"I" will vote NO if Government and RM cant sort out their very unfair idea of competition that means RML have to subsidise private companies to the tune of up to 2p a letter (FFS my bag is half RM half DSA giving money to DSA firms for FA!

"I" Will vote NO if we have to pay back a loan to Government that they they stole from our service in the first place!

If those chumps and Sc*bs at HQ think i will vote for ANY CUTS to my job, terms, conditions and pensions without them sorting the CORE PROBLEMS of RML out they need to think again! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Are you gonna pay for "your" leaders MISTAKES? The choice is yours! If you vote YES to this then the 2007 - 2009 Pay & Mod stitch up will be a picknick in the park because you are adding a whole new tier of parasites to feed of your BACKS and work! Not a facetious request - I thought if we could get PJ to start contributing again it would break us in gently in preparation for the 60 page agreement plus appendices.

The union has attempted to argue at every point about saturdays but Royal Mail have said they have not bought the machines to run idle as they have in all trail units on saturdays. The union has therefore got a commitment for all delivery staff to have to work less saturdays the details will be in the agreement and are a fundremental part of any future agreement with a menu of options for staff to have less saturdays at work.

Is the subtext to this that we tryed....Then we rolled over and played dead.....but to safe face we have delegated the reponsability down to unit reps...inspite of the fact that we asked people to ballot for IA locally in order to help achieve a national agreement!

I know i said previosly that i appreciated you keeping us updated, and i do, but this looks like a terrable deal and it increasingly looks like your here to manage expectations.

I hope the performance standards are a joke or DOM claims ours are somthing like 70% and we are working hard their traffic figures are a work of fiction. I tipped a tray of flats a couple of weeks ago with 3 flats in it the rest were all letters weighed as flats.
