called managers bluff--sat after strike

Post by vigilante »

Our agreement by a screw that was sacked :Very Happy was that meal reliefs were on the end of duties!
screw in charge today said all M/S to go. No O/T
OK we'll cut off!
AAHH. If you cut off you will have to work until your time and take M/R in duty not on end, that agreement has gone now!
Ok i said.
I rallied some of the troops and we went in to canteen and took our 40 mins M/R before we had even 'set in'.
Screw came in and said, are you taking all you M/R now?
I said yes! his f*****g jaw hit the floor!!!!!
we worked our full time, he never spoke to us when we got back, he had to even hold up the dist. driver!!
I brought 1/2 of the round back after doing it properly.
Roll on Monday.
Let's hope more follow this lead.

40 mins Rest break Either 20 before you go out and 20 at the end of shift, or 40 before you go out, but if you take it all be very careful on return. :nana :nana :nana :nana :nana

cutting off-the rules

Post by vigilante »

madelin4

you must inform a screw before you go out that you may not be able to complete.
you can either take the mail out and tell him you will ring back to tell them you cannot complete and how much(down to individual to use mobile)
Or leave an estimated amount at the DO.
YOU CAN TAKE ALL 40 MINS BEFORE OR 20 IN AND 20 OUT-----YOU ARE ENTITLED TO 40 MINS EITHER WAY ON A FULL DUTY OF 8 HRS

ALWAYS INFORM DUM DUMS BEFORE YOU GO OUT!!

DON'T COME BACK EARLY BUT GIVE YOURSELF TIME TO UNLOAD OR POUCH OFF
