el_cartero you are a man of contradictions.

You want more hours as you cannot survive on £138 but you baulk at the idea of getting up at 4.00. :nervous :nervous

wel i have to look on the bright side of things - living on a poverty contract isnt great but atleast im not up at 4am.
one day part timers will have the same right as full timers

I started in June '06, 40hrs temp contract, 3 months later I was in Sevenoaks, 40hrs temp and 3 months later I was permanant on 30hrs....it stayed like that for about 18 months then I and all the other PTs ( that joined about a year after I did ) were made up to 35hrs and there it has stayed for me....sadly for those that joined after I did, when their temp contracts ended, they were bumped back down to 25hrs and offered another 3 months    ( prefectly legit & totally immoral imho :evil/mad :evil/mad :evil/mad )

However, if the 75/25 FT/PT split is part of a National Agreement, then there will be some at Sevenoaks that will be made up & will deserve it for the time they've put in & the way they've been treated already.
I don't suppose your mouth bleeds every 28 days, does it?

Ease your stress el_cartero, instead of spending every hour your not at work by resting instead of invading every post with the same old story..your stressing yourself cos you never stop going on about the same thing

If the rumours are true, and you are quite high up in the part time seniority stakes, and you wan tfull time then yes, you may be offered a full time job, if and when they decide to tell us what they have spent the last god knows how long we have been waiting
