To be honest...... Angry...... We on Earth do people cross the picket line when they moan about the job. I really can't understand why they want to do more work when they work up to their time anyway. As far as I'm concerned they might aswell sign that contract and us lot that stayed out have the deal the CWU get us. I'm not looking after them.

WELCOME TO ROYAL MAIL CHAT
Hello and welcome. Also I'd like to say thank you for being a CWU rep, its a thankless task most of the time. Also I feel extacly the same as you and Rocky do about strike breakers. Perhaps we can get rid of them after its all over.

Thank You for all your kind words in support.
I have only been a rep for approx 2 months. I challenged the previous rep cause he accepted everything and did nothing, I couldn't stand watching the office being ripped apart and said I could do a better job. I have since rejected the proposed start times and proposed cuts to the office. Had constant contact with the head area Union office and dealt with organising and attending the 1st 2 picked lines. The 1st of which landed on my rota week off.
For those that cross the picket line and use the excuse "I can't afford £60 deducted from my wage". I do not buy it. The reason is, I myself struggle to pay bills each week. I have an x-wife which I have to pay maintenance of £50 to each week, a mortgage of £500 a month, 3 boys, 2 from previous marrige and bills on top of that.
I am here till the death. Each strike day I will be at the gate blowing my whistle to those that cross the line. Just those wait till after the dispute.
