DGP1,
happy with 7 hours on delivery? You've clearly either got several "comfort" breaks lined up along the way or a much stronger bladder than mine!

Point is there is a contradiction.
Most people say they are happiest when they are out of the DO but at the same time they don't want to be out of the DO any longer than at present.
Maybe they don't want to be any happier.
Maybe we have reached a happy medium.
But there is no contradiction IMHO. There are 2 main parts to this Job

1. Inside
2. Outside

Just because I enjoy 2 more than I enjoy 1 does not automatically mean I would accept more of 2 especially or that if I did it would make me happier. :Very Happy (Not sure which smiley applies so I used both)

Most managers within RM I thought

Would I be right in thinking you would be out in a van on a rural for 7 hours?
Bit different to being a foot soldier pushing a glorified pram (I mean an HCT) round some chavtastic estate.

Do you have something against the Indigenous people of Chavland CCR.
I hope this isn't another racially motivated thread.

So you've reached the happy medium TBT.
I thought the two parts to the job were
1. Misdelivering
2. Doorstepping.
Have I been watching too much TV?

As the self-appointed politically correct policeperson of RMC I can quite categorically state that there is no racial slur intended in my use of the phrase "chavtastic"
I first saw it used in one of TBT's posts and he may well have the copyright. I liked it so much I just wanted to use it myself.
