Yes if there is a deal the members will get sent a copy to their home address, oh I forgot your no longer a member !!!!!!!!!!
big deal dingo...paid my subs for over ten years and horribly let down by some of your buddies....I care about the friends I left behind and want to see you and your apologists be honest to those who pay your wages....I want to see them better off, not worse off...
I am a customer and funder of RM and true trade unionist who wants to see the CWU deliver...not look after itself as a junior partner of the employer at the cost to the members...
...and if your titbits are anything to go by...well...I am going to be completely wrong and this will be one hell of a "goody" for all those suckers who keep you tripping around those offices down south!!!!
...I look forward to eating humble pie....not....
The agreement will be enough for everyone to take in without people exercising thier personal vendettas.
Why don't you just let the people that matter in all this decide - the membership.
Their will be national, regional and local briefings (and if your branch doesnt offer you one then demand one and demand a speaker from HQ) and the full agreement will come out to all members from HQ as dingo says.
The agreement will change the shape of the industry forever. People need to decide whether it is right for them based on facts and not based on scoring cheap points.
You're right Lovejoy, 50 pages plus Appendices will tax most of us who are only familiar with page 3 of The Sun. Let's just hope it is written by someone who is familiar with the English language.
Strange that the membership is now important when the vote is due and really why would we need someone from HQ to speak, or will he/she be the sacrificial lamb for the village stocks?
I doubt it will change the shape of the industry what it will probably do is change the shape of the working life of a post-person.
Hopefully everyone will look at the deal in terms of the long term prospects not in any short term financial gain, should there be any, at how it will impact on them personally and not be swayed by Greeks bearing gifts and wannabes brokering a deal for personal ends.

Simple,All of the Goodies will be in the first few pages framed by nice easy words like bonus, lump sum, cash, reward and lots of these £££££££££££££££.
Alternatively look for the pages where the words seem longer and more complex than they need to be and you will have found where the worst of this agreement resides.
Perhaps we could start a book club on RMC and the agreement could be the first "book" we choose.
Then the people with MA's could explain all the long words.

Joking aside - I certainly will have a blog entry and be putting my views on here and I encourage all that have a stake in the agreement do the same.
Of course those who are not in the CWU are entitled to their opinions and are welcome to post them, but ultimately only the voting members views on the whole agreement really count.

We'll have to look forward to D2D on a saturday then!
Plus if you cannot complete now becuase of workload well once door to door is introduced into workload then they will have to put in extra hours into your office so you can complete.
OR managers will bully / threaten staff to work harder / work for nothing.
What this "deal / agreement" needs is an agreement to get in top class managers and remove all failed postman / little hitlers / incompetent coffee drinking lazyarses.
Without a massive shift in the attititude and quality of managers NOTHING will change!

Post of the day
Run, rabbit run. Dig that hole, forget the sun.
And when at last the work is done. Don't sit down, it's time to dig another one

That doesn't seem to tie up with the super duper benefits agreement that we have been told about from others on the forum.
