so looks like your getting the extra 30 mins to do your d2d's lucky you.
4 Hour Delivery
30m meal relief
45 prep frame time and bag up
40 mins to and from DO (20 mins each way)
= 5HR and 25MINS
Contract time = 5HRS
Impossible to complete!
22.5? I'd go f***ing nuts! Your contract is stupid but that does not make mine great!
mines is
leave house at 8:30
in at 9 to 20% of mail lying on desk
expected out by 9:45 get to walk by 10
usualy finishing from 2 - 3
get bus home
stand in post office for 5 mins leaving stuff to return :|
home for around 3:30
go in next morning claim overtime on dock.
start again
MEAL RELEIF ARE U FKING KIDDING ME? so basically ur on the same contract as me but u get an extra 30 mins for a break that i do not get? OMFG
Always add it to the end of whenever you finish if ye dont take it
So if ye finish at 2.30 and havent had a break thats 3 o clock ( or 2.50 perhaps )
no my contacts a solid 22.5 hours. this has never been mentioned.
still think i should do my d2ds? and do u wonder why my dom isnt kickig up fuss?

If you've been working with no break and still have been finishing at the times you have been with no time and having to rush around then there are real problems
You need to tell them - and start taking your breaks.

Re: part time - d2d
Are you scared of getting let go?
They will know no doubt they are chancing their arm with ye but If I were you in your position on your contract i'd feel theres nothing to lose. Would be harder for them to replace you with someone who'd take the shite than you to find better than the shite they are serving up. You need to tell them or it will go on forever. Try and be calm though and make sure you take in a witness even if your not a union member just have someone there with you.
Dont realise how lucky I have it with the management I have, who are actually pretty decent and human, and the organised way things work here - but you never know whats round the corner.

Calm down mate, you do get a break - 20 mins, you also obviously get 15M to get to your first letter, so that's another 15M back.

Run, rabbit run. Dig that hole, forget the sun.
And when at last the work is done. Don't sit down, it's time to dig another one

Cmon now, an extra 15 mins one morning is not a lot to sacrifice for what could potentially save you hours upon hours!el_cartero wrote:thing is i dont really have time in the morning to start all this crap i jsut get in and the45 mins goes quick barely have time to look around stresssed to the max tryign to get ready in time ...Acca Dacca wrote:Are you scared of getting let go?

No, thats NOT you break it's your travel time. Apologies as what I said could easily have been misconstrued.el_cartero wrote:IPS wrote:Calm down mate, you do get a break - 20 mins, you also obviously get 15M to get to your first letter, so that's another 15M back.

20 mins to the first letter
20 mins back from the last letter
20 mins meal relief
ONE HOUR in all.
Bagging up, deeds etc - 45 Mins
That leaves you with exactly 2.45 DELIVERY TIME.
CUT OFF, file a grevience or work the PAID overtime only. Do not get stressed, that's YOUR choice.
