Thieves managed to escape with a number of parcels and police are appealing for witnesses

Police were notified of the incident shortly before 5am on Monday.

Some DOs round here have MC runs coming in when we are closed, the driver has keys etc - it might be the same at that DO.
But I think your suggestion is more likely

Shouldn't the room of doom be locked up - especially as it's usually attached to the RLE?DGP1 wrote:There are always packets and parcels brought back to the office so I would assume these would have been the ones stolen (from the callers office).
I don't suppose your mouth bleeds every 28 days, does it?

Yes but if they can go through one window then they can go through another, obviously we all work in different buildings with different layouts but our callers office is just a room inside our DO.smokerjim wrote:Shouldn't the room of doom be locked up - especially as it's usually attached to the RLE?DGP1 wrote:There are always packets and parcels brought back to the office so I would assume these would have been the ones stolen (from the callers office).

Ditto at TN13, but it's the sliding windows that you can lock down ( which I presume are standard ) and I assumed the glass was toughened glass....mind you, it makes me think, were the windows down and locked in the first place?
