Manager on the picket line?

Ah after eight hours on the picket line today it certainly felt good to get home and put my feet up. The highlight of the day for me today though was when our manager (who for some strange reason is still a member of the CWU) joined us on the picket line and even allowed me to photgraph him in situ. This may have seemed somewhat insignifcant to him, however, in the photo he looks quite content on the line maybe even to the point where he looks like he is supporting us! Now I'm sure a good bo*****ing is on the cards for him if it is seen by his boss, and what I would like you guys to do is maybe advise me on where to send it.

I was told today on 'the line' that a manager is supposed to be present on it with you. Dunno how true this is though.

I believe there has to be a manager present if anyone's trying to get in to the office to work. Don't know if there has to be one there all the time though.

as i understand it ,when staff become management on a permant basis they can no longer be members of the cwu .

Hi Ed I have just joined this forum and by the nature of your pathetic posts It seems to me that you seem to be the .anker here

If I had a union rep that was just content to get his manager into trouble etc etc etc I would really begrudge paying my union fees!!

Try working with him and not against him this is why we are in this sort of mess anyway............ what a .ick!!
