Suggestions for a Campaign against Downstream Access

Post by Roy Mayall »

Postal workers will certainly know about Downstream Access, but how many members of the public have heard about it or understand what is going on?

The following is a user’s guide to Downstream Access and its impact on the Royal Mail.

So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

Hi westlondonpostie, where did that leaflet come from? It's great. We need to be able to link to it so people can take copies and distribute it as they will.

It strikes me that the liberalisation of the mail thru' allowing this access to competitor firms seems to be the cause of so much anguish that we are going through as posties.I have long pondered the legality of it all.

Agree Wessex. We should look into a possible legal challenge maybe.

Don't forget that the other beneficiaries of DSA are the big corporate mailers such as the banks.....That's right the guys we bailed out with billions of taxpayer's money so that that they could continue paying themselves massive bonuses. Yup, through DSA we are subsidising the banks and utility companies as they happily screw us all.
