Well things may have changed,they may now know the strike ballot has expired and have decided to play hardball OR they may just be dotting the i's and crossing the t's and- the UNION want us to think it is they who are playing hardball,who knows?

And then comes the news that RM have come back with an improved offer........

Exactly WHAT do we need a Labour government for?

We need a Labour government to ensure we don't get a Tory government.

And that is the crux of the problem, alternatives to Labour that are worthwhile to the Trade Union movement are not developed enough yet in terms of public support for the powers that be to break the link.

Well we have just been told by Area Rep that we have less than 60% full timers, and Area Rep has made agreement to have 8 vans come in for park and loop, of course it looks as though no one has added time on for using golf trollry etc, no idea what kind of figures they shoved into Georoute, got told that it will be a trial, but as usual we all know what 'trial' means, we've been trying to sort out the Georoute mess we had 2 years ago (same bloke doing it this time as well).

I've got to say I'm not to impressed that Area Rep has made an agreement without consulting the office or while talks are still on going, I believe our office rep was in on the meeting, but what could he do about it?

I assume that the whole country will end up being shafted the same as us.

Dingo, you reported last week that there was a PEC meeting on Wed / Thur of this week. Why all that stuff yesterday about not being able to agree a deal. Now today we have an improved deal? all a bit last minute to me? what's happened to Roger Poole?

P.S. Don't know if you've seen it but I would be really interested if you could shed some light on my question I asked you earlier about Full time working in the deal.

My Mrs is thinking about introducing BSI 100 standards in the bedroom, we've entered talks ,but I'm thinking of pulling out of the union.Think I'll push for light duties
