Firework attack destroys Victorian post box in Cumbria

Vandals damaged a Victorian village post box in Cumbria during a late-night attack.
Police said a small explosive device, believed to have been a firework, was detonated and then placed inside the box at Rosgill, near Shap.
The Royal Mail post box was destroyed, along with an unknown number of letters inside it.
Anyone with any information about the incident at about 2145 GMT on Sunday is asked to contact Cumbria Police.

The box was 'destroyed' by a firework small enough to go through the whole? That could have only been C4 or some other high explosive not a low explosive pyro. Can we believe the news anymore, even if it's BBC? Tossers.

Remove the Post box, if they abuse the service, they should have it taken away, when these yobbos want to post their giro claim form, they will find there is no Box to post it in.
