Adam Crozier, newly appointed chief executive of ITV, could win Who Wants To Be A Multi-Millionaire? after it emerged that he is set to earn £16m at the broadcaster if he meets performance targets.

His basic salary is likely to be £800,000, but there will be an annual 150 per cent cash bonus if he meets performance criteria, which have yet to be published.

It is understood he will also be eligible for a share-based, long-term incentive scheme at ITV, home to Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? and Secret Diary Of A Call Girl, starring Billie Piper.

It may pay out £6m over five years, taking his total remuneration, excluding pension contributions, to £16m.

Crozier, 46, is likely to leave Royal Mail in March with a £2m payoff. However, if Royal Mail decides not to pay the full sum, ITV could make up the difference with a 'golden hello'.

We've got Sky Plus, and we rarely watch ITV, except Britains got Talent/X Factor. ( Very sad. I'm, so, so sorry.)
Think it's gone well downhill in the last 10 - 15yrs,
Seems to show "sensationalist" programmes, to try to knock the BBC out of the running.
Eg, Some unknown/untalented "Girl Group" woman to go onto Corrie, to get a "Celeb" onto it...Desperate measures, I feel.

So, if it - hopefully - continues on this downward trend...Dozy Crozy won't be there too long, and NO bonus too, LOL!

The bonus is as good as his, he'll have no problems making massive cuts to services and jobs. They'll be thinking 'if he can get away with cutting 60,000 jobs at Royal Mail what can he do here?!'

Good to see him leave... He probably thinks he's leaving a sunken ship.. But belive you n me - US POSTIE'S WILL FIGHT TOOTH n NAIL TO STOP THIS SHIP FROM SINKING. :cfo

Here's a question for you's..! - How long do you think it'll be before ITV workers go on STRIKE due to his management? or whenever they're told sorry i'm the new big boss and i'm getting a big fat pay rise and a hefty bonus thou that'll mean you's will have to have a PAY-FREEZE..but do more work and if any 1 pulls a sickie the rest of the workers need to chip in and do their work for no additional pay.

Can also imagine ITV workers Christmas BONUS later on this year - it'll probably be a shitty little Christmas Card saying Thanks for all your hard work ( which earned me my bonus ) and also YOU HAVE 50 FREE STAMPS... Only kidding, IT'LL BE 50 FREE ENTRIES INTO ANY ' ITV ' COMPETITION VIA PRESSING RED BUTTON....!
