SEVENOAKS DELIVERY OFFICE 100% TURNOUT FROM APPROX 150 STAFF . . . . . . . . . not one person even tried to cross the picket line which was well supported from 0430 onwards . . . . . only managers crossed over in the vans, and as they went the back doors were opened by the pickets to prove the special delivery mail wasn't be safeguarded as it should be, by the people who always tell us to do just that . . . . . . well done all at Sevenoaks . . . . . . . solidarity rules :Applause

On the line at Runcorn from 05.00 until 13.30. Apart from managers, not one scab in sight.

Sale once again were 100% strong. Everyone is in agreement though that it is time to start hitting harder. And loathe as I am to take it out on kiddies, the Potter book needs to be targetted.

BETTER THIS TIME

Post by mdtomuk »

OK, MY OFFICE HAD 4 strike breakers THIS TIME (6 LAST TIME) - ONE NEW ONE, WHO I'M SHOCKED TO HEAR ABOUT. ONE PARTIMER WHO ONLY DELIVERS (20 HR CONTRACT!), AND TWO OF THE SAME AS LASTIMERS! ONE WHO IS A THICKIE WHO WE ALL TAKE PITY UPON - AND ANOTHER WHO REALLY SHOULD KNOW A LOT BETTER, WHO HOPEFULLY GETS THE COLD SHOULDER FROM NOW ON. NOT BAD FOR 'TORYVILLE' BH POSTCODE LAND!!!

DAVE WARD WAS INTERVIEWED BY THE BUSINESS JOHNNY ON 5 LIVE THIS MORN - AND WAS EXCELLENT. IT SEEMS THAT URGENT MEETING ON WEDNESDAY WAS A LEIGHTON PR STUNT. IN FACT HIS W*NKNESS WAS ONLY ON THE PHONE FROM ONE OF HIS OTHER JOBS - I MEAN, CAN YOU BELIEVE THE MAN! 'NO COMMENT' FROM 5 LIVE JOCKEYS, BUT I ASSUME EYEBROWS WERE RAISED.

FIGHT OR DIE!!!

Plymouth MDEC Late Shift - Seemed very quiet but about 90 people on refresher training. Atmosphere was very tense and yes I did as I said I crossed the picket line however after 30 minutes changed mind and walked out, manager threatened I would be taken down the conduct code.

See what happens now.
