Out goodwill bit is doing what we are told. Weigh our bags, and write the weight down every single day. First bag only is up to 16Kg. Hope you don't have an accident carrying 16Kg back, you'll be on your own.bandit650 wrote: 16KG is our good will bit.

Re: Test of duty
in our office retested duties under original georoute proposals still well over duty span ,constant dissagreements withbandit650 wrote:This is just an idea for any one of you that are having problems of this type,it is working in our office, dont work over your time, don't make the delivery your problem, explain quite clearly to your manager that you will not be working above your hours,if your manager tells you to take it all out ask him/her to put it down in writing and ask for it to be signed with his/her name, when your asked why just say you are protecting yourself against willfull delay, the manager will not do it they will give you a 1000 reasons why not!you will need to make it clear that you will only be able to bring back 16kg as that is the limit, you will need to be broad shouldered because some times the manager will get a little upset, try and get any other staff to do the same if they are fed up with it.Keep a diary if you get any problems and make sure the union know, they are now testing duty's in our office,so far the ones that have been tested are way over, just be strong.
linos and dim about working proper contracted hours ie cutting off. (REPLIES you will have to work faster then. Nuff said

Re: Test of duty
I have not yet but why should i,if i can go out with a bag that weighs 16KG or up to and not have an accident why should i have one on the way back, the rules dont say you have to go out on the start of your delivery with 16kg you could have gone out with a lower weight,How would a manager know most of ours are far to busy drinking coffee, patting each other on the back for a job well done!to notice what size bag you went out with, maybe your managers take a bit more notice but most managers that i have come across in my small time with RM are not noted for their powers of observation,i believe that is why they are employed in the job, cant have them being brighter than those in the ivory towersNewPostieUK wrote:Out goodwill bit is doing what we are told.
