Purely from a mail volume point of view it would make more sense to cancel the lightest day, and that isn't Saturday anymore.
Postal workers shouldn't bend to the will of businesses who couldn't give a flying feck about them. I'm not 100% sure, but I was told that the MC's do mainly outward mail at the beginning of the week so not as much mail goes out to the DO's they service. Later in the week they do more inward so we get battered.Sherpas Rule wrote:Why are Tuesdays so light anyway?

At my office we work 6 days a week as sat is the sa day and im pretty sure 99% of my work mates would like saturdays scrapped too! ... But yes i know .. dream on ..thats never gonna happen
