Depends on how humane your manager is. Whether it turns up or the customer complains (receiver and intended receiver), and what your record is like.
If you are a golden boy you probably safe.
If you keep your head down and just got on with the work - a slapped wrist a note on your permanent record.
If you are an activist or a "trouble maker"- who knows
Whatever you do if the DOM wants to speak take a witness in with you.

It's been a bad week.
One day I had no pen, another no 739 cards.Two days running I lost my priority services card.
Today I had to explain to two different customers why xmas cards posted first class on the 12/12 and 14/12 took over a month to arrive.
And I had a packet posted in USA on 4/12 for a customer who sarcastically remarked it would now make her son's xmas.It was a cheap shot but I blamed the yanks.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.
not to bad letters not to bad packets and parcels not to bad but loads of national trust mags with the year book in, why the f@*k can't they put them in the other way so they can go thru a letter box

Had a recorded for a house today, no answer so I wrote out a card then put both the card + letter through the door
My Saturday was great as normal, left behind an hours worth of delivery and still just finished in my time - out for 7.15 back for 12.50, hell of a way to run an office.
I'm preparing myself for the zombie invasion, rule number 1 - Cardio
Saturday was busy again. The end of the week is becoming heavier all the time now. Got out at 9am and finished at 13.30, without a break. There were a few long faces in the office at the news of the talks being extended.

Crikey, I wish the talks would go on forever, for when they end, and the deal they've agreed is put to us, those faces will get longer, and I for one, am not looking forward to that day, I can tell you.
