I'd like to see you get some figures, you seem good at criticising, how about you do some leg work yourself for a change.
Those figures are impossible to obtain unless you can get hold of a very high figure in the CWU who has access to them or senior royal mail management.
Both of which are beyond the reach of anyone I know.

I'll tell you something else I do know.
Appeal managers like to walk in on the first day of the appeal and announce they are totally independent. Like fuk are they independent, they are paid for by Royal mail and are there solely to plug the holes in RM's case against you and try to make sure you dont have a chance at tribunal.
If your case looks like it may be difficult for RM they will take longer to reach a decision.
Like allways in Royal mail, if management think they have a problem they will put it off and off and off and hope it goes away.
In the case of dismissal they hope you will find another job and be gone, that is why the union recommends you fill in an employment tribunal form before your appeal so that RM know you are serious. The appeal manager will be aware you have filled an ET form in, a log of your ET form will be sent to Royal mail HR services and it is Royal mail HR services that send the appeal manager.
The trouble with filling in your ET form before your appeal is that you haven't exhausted the Royal mails internal proceedure yet, that is why I recommend you wait until after the appeal before you fill your ET form in. Just make sure Royal mail knows you are prepared to do so.
This is also just guesswork but once you enter the tribunal phase Royal mail have access to a huge network of lawyers and funds, the one thing you have in your favour is the tribunal will not make you pay Royal mail costs unless the tribunal thinks you are really taking the p1ss with your claim, so Royal mail cannot threaten you with this.This is something I am sure the Tory party would like to put a stop to, I am sure that once in power the Tories will change this and make you vulnerable to paying the other parties cost, the Labour party is not all bad.
This is all just hearsay by the way.

hantsman ive worked with them for 6 years an i sent the it in the begining of jan an i filled the form on line

called today an told i will get my answer in 3 to 4 wks time totally fed up now

recived notice from it to say that it has been accepted and a copy has been sent to rm to say they have 28 days to respond so what do i have to do now do i just wait will they offer me a settlement or carry on with the case

sit tight - ACAS who act as mediators may get involved / contact you - if so take appropriate advice .

RM's solicitors may contact you later , don't be bullied by them , a settlement does NOT clear you of anything .
