Who is the Dog Warden answerable to ?
- there should be a Ward Councillor that may be interested .
If it's Social Housing Property , they should have a Anti - Social Policy , it's amazing how accommodating the Landlord can be ; if the local rag could get a sniff . Ways and means
.
If you've come off your bike , report it to the Dept of Work & Pensions as a Industrial Injury and give them a full report
it'll all get back to people

Ive put it in the accident book and booked appointment with drs but its not till tuesday and why would i report it to Dept of Work & Pensions ? what do they have to do with it? The dog warden told my manager that they have to be referred by the police before they would come out .

Any Accident on RM duty should be reported to them , the Union's Solicitors or a Personal Injuries Solicitor will require it , It'll be harder for the Council to close ranks , make excuses and pass the buck , it may put the wind up the Dog's Owner( s ) as it's harder for them to swear blind that Rex & Fido are good dogs really , you may be entitled to something ( I got money when I fell off a ladder at work and broke my wrist - no questions asked , it was all sorted out by the Ward Sister - she wrote me a sick note out )manc_daddy wrote:Ive put it in the accident book and booked appointment with drs but its not till tuesday and why would i report it to Dept of Work & Pensions ? what do they have to do with it? RM are less likely to give you hassle and send you nasty letters , they are less likely to twist things round and make out it's your fault & close ranks especially on RMAP
Some reps make a point of getting their own accidents reported to the DWP , as they don't trust RM , a rep is a good scalp for a rogue manager .
"Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit (IIDB)
If you have an injury at work, are the victim of an assault at work, suffer a work-related road traffic accident or have an occupational disease, you should claim IIDB. You can do this even if you are back at work, are earning full wages and are in receipt of SSP or ESA.
To make a claim, go to your local DWP office and ask for a claim pack for IIDB. You can also access the claim packs on the DWP website (http://www.dwp.gov.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) or ring on 0800 0 55 66 88 between 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. If you have a speech or hearing impairment, you can use the textphone service on 0800 0 23 48 88."

the old saying is 'There is no snooze button on a cat' and you can imagine what they're like when they don't get fed
worse than a baby at times and boy can they sulk . Dogs have Masters and Cats have servants
Years ago I read in a Lads Mag - " Cats came down in the same spaceship that brought Women " , not very PC / Right On , slightly Misogynist / Sexist
