Re: New recruit's
We have been told that we are going to be the first in the area to get park and loop in southampton. Not surprised as dom was disappointed that due to packets i could not get whole of delivery in HCT (am first to use one) and said to me then that park and loop was the way forward. The thing is that though we are short of drivers those that can drive amongst my colleagues wouldnt want to drive for the company as one put it('easier to sack me, three accidents and id be out etc.') and thats the general feeling amongst us full timers but then theres the part timers and we,re 50/50 in this office and still recruiting. Were doomed. We,re left with the s**t walks now therell be even less left. I asked the dom if theyd pay for driving lessons and he said i doubt it, but like another post said can you imagine the strings attached. As it is managers can force people to drive quoting time theyve invested in their changeover now . If you got lessons i would imagine you would have to stay with the company two years or pay it back

I dont think they would do park n loop ion the area i deliver its just one big compact bit - basically all flats..... not like its going to be any different if its park n loop.
