I use my RM bike, it suits me I like cycling, I also like working on my own. I'm not the fastest and I like to chat to a few of my customers, I might be the only person they talk to all day. If I was paired up with one of the 'runners' :no no in my office, I think there would be some friction!

I joined as a 16 year old cadet so I doubt its in my contract to drive.

IF all this goes ahead a revision and resign will be a nightmare.
With 50% of duties ringfenced for drivers.
Then different start times and attendance patterns needing to be aligned.
It may look more like the Champions League draw than a resign. :cuppa

Having carefully considered all the post's about the up and comming agreement, I have come to the following conclusion...

WE'RE F**KED

I NEVER thought I'd ever say this but neither RM or the CWU has any real interest in our welfare, only their own positions.

A sad day indeed. :sad:

Nil desperandum - it's not over 'til the fat lady votes - if the deal is not up to our expectations then we must vote NO and demand they go back to the table and NOT have a procession of union officials visiting offices and branchs persuading them to change their vote as happened in 2007.

I disagree because if we where f***ed then that would at least provide some enjoyment :nervous

Ive just done a distance check on my delivery.

Im 0.6 miles from the d.o to 1st delivery point 0.8 miles from last point of call to delivery office and my furthest delivery point is 1.1 miles from the D.O.

Trolley it is then!!!!!! :shock:
