i think 1 day strikes are a waste of time, as shown on other boards here some offices had good turn out but some mostly put 2 fingers up 2 the strike. work 2 rule best way i think and do your hours no going in early and have your lunch break. wana c the union telling the public whats happening 2, just seems royal mail view coming over. anyway lads and lasses keep the fight going, one of us has 2 crack. time will tell i guess. keep the faith

it was a pretty solid strike according to the union, 5000 workers have joined in last 3 weeks, 2000 of them new and 3000 already working for a while. 95% turnout for the strike of cwu members. One dayers will just fritter that away lets go all out and get it done.
