i wont do overtime, only my set sa's. When I cut off they treat me like s**t, move me to worse jobs etc. Oh but so and so can do it. Yeh he comes in 30 mins early and takes no breaks and runs

I will always stand on my gate but often wonder why

Agree with most of your post. Managers think it's their RIGHT to pressurise you to O/T even if you've said it's not possible that day/week.
If I want O/T, then I'll do it. But to be given "Cut offs" that others can't/won't do, and you've got to get somewhere, and you know you can't finish it,
THATS when it get's stressful...but shouldn't be.
TAKING THE PEE is what it is!

Well the union rep in our office used to rant and rave at anyone who used thier cars on thier walks. He was a bag drop driver. Then one saturday he was doing a cash cover, so he told everyone he dropped bags off to, to use thier cars
Hypocrasy is killing the job more than anything else. Until we learn to stand together and all do what is good for the many regardless of personal circumstance... the management will always get thier way
Union what Union? Do we have a union?

You should not cut off with the same mail twice, always try to do the cut off the next day and cut elsewhere.el_cartero wrote:Hi guys
Just wondering what is the best way to manage mail that has been cut on if u cut 3 days in a row wont that produce a large amount of mail maybe even to big for the box's?

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
