So what happens if you eat said forbidden meat? Do you get kicked out of the religion or something? Or is it just the 'unclean' thing. Bloody hell, thought religion was about understanding each other. Seems pretty easy to offend people with faiths!

Christians eating unclean meat (pork being one)- Yep there are apparently foods we should not eat and they are in the bible = Not allowed to go to the temple that day (Old testament)

With regards to eating pork as far as I know there is no sanction when a Muslim eats pork by mistake but as soon as they are aware they should stop and throw the rest away. They then should ask for forgiveness when next praying (as should apparently Jews and Christians if they eat pork as well apparently part of the Sermon on the Mount concerned eating pork).
