We were also briefed about all the contracts weve lost recently and believe me its a lot.

I had a word with my DOM bout a week ago,he'd never heard of the £30.00 thing,i assured him it was going on,was supposed to get back to me
At least i now know they haven't suspended it,i'll have a nother word with him.
Cheers.

Why not piss ur DOM off

Post by F0zziebear »

WHy not write an email to ask/tell Allan and telll him you aren't getting your WTLL's session

According every speech he's ever given that I've attended he bangs on about reading all his emails and would be mightly pissed to hear your lazy DOM isn't giving you some WTLL lovin.

What's interesting though is that they seem to be some one-way session. THe whole idea is for it to be two-way. Tell your monkey DOM next time and if they challenge you send them to me and I'll put them straight.

Not a WTL but a propaganda session. Told us why we should accept 13 walks and nights being cut, and that they are going to implement it. Strike looming ???.

Also they now want 5 walkers to cover 7 duties over Summer as they are not bringing in Summer Casuals. Another idea from above was to let drivers cover sections of walks and the Alley Bosses would agree not to sign out any oversize packets (WTF).

Also something about A+ which went over my head.

UNCLE MATHEW
please stop this idea of yours about people doing longer days to save on summer staff because most of us have kids to pick up from school, either bring in the staff, sort out the a/l cover, or try these 6 hrs del yourself, yes tbt we has the same brief
it was a crap idea last year when you expected mail volumes to drop so you could save money with your brain child and it got blown out of the water then what makes you think its a better idea this year
to explain it seems that me, tbt, and the rest of the lads do f //k all during the summer, so our som has decided it would be a good idea for us to work 4 days a week during the summer leave period doing 1 1/2 walks every day,no mail and all that you know, he tried it last year and we got shafted every week with mail volumes, so true to rm usual standards if it was a crap idea last year it must be a good idea this year, my line boss struggled to keep a straight face as he was telling us

This idea (covering walks during the summer by rural drivers) has not got as far as WTL here. Although talking to the union rep it is in the process of being drawn up by our manager. Our main WTL issue was taking vans out of our office and doing these areas as cycle deliveries. Perhaps Allan sees this as away that RM are helping the environment!!!

It was cancelled as we had a late batch of mail. However, I do know it was meant to be a session on sequencing the new walks.

This site and forum is important BUT???

Post by L Tommo »

This site and Forum is important BUT??? What about the Local And National CWU getting us around for a meeting about JOB CUTS/WALK SEQUENCING/AUTOMATION. And our way of having our own destiny in our own hands as much as we can?? :hmmmm The lack of FEED BACK and jokingly COMMUNICATION in this Union is some times a sad joke... :d'oh! WTL are in my view a total waste of time and only lip service and a baine in DOMS, Line managers life... Only when have THEY something to spout is the right time to have a WTL.... We in my office had 30 mins off the floor whether we went or not When our WTL came about and told our Line manager so.. I wonder if old BIG AL or lil adam would like to comment on this ? As its there brainchild!!!!

OUT...

DONT LET THE WTL's GRIND YA DOWN....

we had a special turn up at 6.30. so it was cancelled. but i think the dom was going to have a 1-1 with those that had applied for buy down and voluntary redundancy.
