I have copy and pasted the story as it looks like the caterers made a mistake and labelled the Scotch Eggs as meat free - In this case IMHO RM were right to issue an apology. Although I don't like the way the Torygraph use it as a Muslim story when, yes they were involved, but what about the other faiths such as Jews, Humanist Vegans and Buddhists.

Or just plain vegetarians. Although I doubt the story would have been written if a faith was not involved and just vegies.

So what happens if you eat said forbidden meat? Do you get kicked out of the religion or something? Or is it just the 'unclean' thing. Bloody hell, thought religion was about understanding each other. Seems pretty easy to offend people with faiths!

When I were a lad there was just a tangerine and a few nuts in the stocking and I would dream of getting a scotch egg for Christmas.
