Re: The "How was your day" thread.
No delivery again at my office, conditions permitting we will be going out Monday with yesterdays and todays stuff. Spent the past 2 days on IPS and prepping the walks, no more room left in the frames. A lot of walks have been tied and bagged up and some people have got 19 bags on Monday
Must be about 30 yorks of large packets to clear aswell, don't know if its going to be clear by xmas.
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet

Re: The "How was your day" thread.
Mail was OK today (the main reason was lack of IPS staff so the management just 'operationally' delayed a york of letters) but was a complete nightmare for packets, 1 1/2 yorks of big packets plus 7 drop bags (OK 1 of them was only half filled
) but because it was a Saturday I got most of them in

Re: The "How was your day" thread.
The conditions were worse yesterday then the day before yet the dim decided we had to take out all letters
had to walk with cycle from office in the snow and ice and then tried to deliver started at 8.30 and by the time it was 1.45pm had enough and rang in to tell them to pick the mail up what I had cut off, The manager had all left earlier nearly went over 5 times, sheer exhustion nearly fainted indoors son had to hold me up bless him only 11,probably done his back in like mine did not stop throbbing all night ( No Comments guys LOl)
Probably get told off when I go in

Thursday, Friday, Saturday, busy as hell. Packets galore. Noticed that we started getting the MS3 and MS2 back so RM must think that its dying down a bit.

Re: The "How was your day" thread.
In today to try and clear some of the parcels that have been stacking up good and proper in the office. Not made as big a dent in them as we hoped due to the terrible road conditions due to the heavy snowfall. Ah well, 3 days to go.

Re: The "How was your day" thread.
Good day today, mail alot lighter and 1 packet bag insted of the 2 or 3 of last week. Becuase of weather and lightbulbs we were allowed to go as soon as ready so everyone was on the way out by 8.30. I even managed to take 20+ light bulbs becuase the packets were so light and got finished by 12 with no slips or falls in the snow meaning I got back 1 hour 30 mins of the o/t we haven't been able to claim over the past few weeks!

Office cleared again but some had to bring rural villages back as snow got too bad.
I didnt leave town centre today yet roads were bad. Seen no evidence of any gritting past or ongoing. And I live in a fair sized town!

Re: The "How was your day" thread.
Really bad for letters today but a complete nightmare for packets, 2 full yorks plus 9 drop bags.......................and one of the managers had the cheek to say last week that the packets won't be bad this week
of course today they all looked surprised at the amount of post that did come in
