Is the site hard to use!!!!!

Post by POSTMAN »

Seems every now and again newbies say how hard to work the site is.
Is it/was it?
What do you think the problems could be.
Any ideas would be great, and any feed back on when you 1st came on if there was probs as well please.
Maybe i can change a few things.

Cheers peeps

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Postman its excellent as it is, but just maybe a little guide for `old duffers like me` as to how to use the `Quote Button` properly would be much appreciated, how does one get `multiple selected quotes` into one reply if you know what I mean? The other thing that I find useful for myself is that I can use my Google Tool Bar to spell check for me. To answer your question above, no difficulty when I started.

I don't find the site hard to use.
The best thing that I've found is 'view all posts since last visit' option on the forum index page (it makes it easier to try to keep up to date)

However I tend to use the computer/internet several times a day. People who are new to this technology may struggle a bit.

The main thing that you could do would be a quick users guide going through key points.

I think to be honest that the site is a little overwhelming when you first visit but only because so many contribute. Once you settle in its very easy to find you way round with this button "view posts since last visit"
