RM management or CWU official, there is usually an agenda lurking around there somewhere. :cuppa
So would we be right to trust you ,or not?
Do you have an agenda lurking somewhere? :cuppa

There''s nothing wrong with that, Fishtank.
I forget who said it, but questioning yourself is one of the purer forms of self-abuse.

if you say who you say you are :hmmmm and are disgusted by how royal mail are treating you, then why the bloody hell are you bleeting on about your woes on this forum, eventhough you views are welcome.
Regarding to the Unite letter to all CMA Members dated 22 October 2009, it clearly outlined that that Unite was backing the CWU and clearly outline that if managers felt they were being pressured to undertake work beyond there normal duties then unite will support there claim should royal mail seek to bully or discipline any CMA member.
I would obviously believe that this is a continuous paper and not just dirrected apon the industrial action at the time, as while Acas and the TUC are still active during this period of clam.
Therefore I suggest you get up stand up, stand up for your rights(well that sound catchy :dance) and inform your union that enough is enough!!!!
however you have already taken the blood/sweat and tears money.
you had your chance and the power of the people citizen WILL now over come the spineless attack management force apon all workforce.
wolfie citizen smith... I am who I say I am thanks.... I'm not bleating on as you suggest, Iam just saying how RM are wrong, and I do stand up for my rights.....as I do stand up for the posties rights I work with, and they know it too.

I can assure you that I am not one of those spineless Managers in fact I do listen to my staff... I am not in it to see how I can screw over the staff to look after myself.........no way.... I have to work with my staff day in day out we have a great working and social relationship......yes in other words I do go out and socialise with my staff fantastic.... and why do you think that is?.....yes they know that I am not a two faced spineless manager who only looks after himself

I agree enough is enough blood sweat and tears money?? well put it this way if I have recieved any reward from royal mail as I have I have always made sure the posties have had a reward too, either from me personally, or via the business
If everything you say is true mmax, and i have no reason to doubt you, then i'm sad to say i don't see much future for you within RM management
I completly agree do any of us have a future......really???

Rather a complex metaphysical proposition for this thread?
Having a future necesitates having a past.Perhaps you need to start there.

Can we just chill out with this is he or is he not a real DOM, please.

Ok we trust no one, fair enough as it’s the nature of forums really. I for one welcome anyone who claims to be a DOM whether I agree with their views or not simply because we need the variety and objective opinions of others because otherwise we simple go around in ever decreasing circles on here saying how shite the job has become (which it has) and end up ripping our own throats out in the process. :arrrghhh
Rows of houses all bearing down on me........I can feel their blue hands touching me.......All these things in all positions.........All these things will one day take control..........

Thorby Bislam wrote:But DOM and line manager's bonus' is based on their salary. They (you) get a bonus irrespective of how efficient or incompetant they are.

Not quite right there Thorby.... it all depends on the office as a whole performance

Apart from Wolfie and me, isn't anyone else suspicious of mmax ? He comes on here praising his staff and being critical of RM. Saying the things we'd like to hear. And in doing so tacitly encouraging us to say critical things about RM, (not that we need much encouragement tbf). Does not the term 'agent provocateur' come to mind ? How soon will it be before people get sacked for comments they've made to good ol' mmax ?

I just saying whats true, and yes I do praise my staff..... and I am critical of RM we all have our own opions..you'r completly barking up the wrong tree.. no ones going to be sacked... but you are entitled to your own opion

Ok, you may think I'm being bitter and cynical, fair comment, but hard won experience has taught me to be cynical about anything a RM manager says.
That’s entirely up to you to be bitter and cynical that comes down to your past experience with RM management....I feel sorry for you.. if you have read my other posts trust and respect takes time irrespective of being a dom or postie

Hi Krussel, thanks for that and to be honest. I think that’s the culture of RM.

I have worked for other large company’s and I can say for sure that I have never seen such Mistrust and bad treatment of the staff and bad management as I have seen in RM.
