When you look back how Royal Mail has gone backwards, is it just me, or did it all start with the two tier postman grade being abolished?

Standards in and around the office have gone down, the "Way forward" also had elements that removed things like QofS.

Ask an OPG to tie up a bundle of letters with string and they are f****d, nether mind asking them where a vague letter goes?

I don`t mind progress, but we havn`t made any. All RM have done is taken on more mail on the cheap, the service part has gone, we are just a business now.

Roll on 2019.

why would any one want to use string these days, thought we were coming up to 2010...

Prefer string to doing bundles with bands as the bands are always breaking, just don't seem to be able to get my hands on any string anymore
