Royal Mail takes short-term space in Heywood

Segro’s Heywood Distribution Park has agreed a short-term letting with Royal Mail to help accommodate the company’s increased Christmas demand.

Royal Mail has taken Unit B4 at the park, which totals 31,156 sq ft, on a three-month basis. The deal mirrors a similar agreement last year, which saw the company take extra space at the Park.

Jane Leedham from Segro said: “The deal demonstrates how important flexibility is in the market. The Royal Mail has historically asked Segro to help accommodate the extra demand around the festive season, and we are happy that we can once again help them with this requirement.”
