Finished at 3.30, loads of packets though, van was almost full.
Run, rabbit run. Dig that hole, forget the sun.
And when at last the work is done. Don't sit down, it's time to dig another one

Yeah thats right.
Tomorrow and the rest of the week I fully expect a hammering, so I'll take days like today when they come.

Inundated, more Tesco club cards, usual near panic due to a lack of sorters, out the office at 9 05 am, first letter 9 30 am after bag drops, finished my rural at 3 pm, half an hour over (and claimed for)... ****ed!

on the whole i reckon our managers have organised christmas pretty well so far. packets are clear daily and most people are finished close to their time. There have been a few hickups but generally we have the right people at the right times.
lets hope good management spreads

Day off today but Wednesday was terrible. I was 2 hours behind getting out on delivery because of a doctors appointment. Started delivery at 12:00, 7 bags, millions of packets/Christmas cards, 15 signature items and none home it seems. I delivered my last letter at 17:35 while struggling to read the address in the dark :(. I was meant to cover a cut off bag after my walk but I wasn't familiar with the area and it was pitch black by then so I brought it back.

Horrendous today, worst day i have had this year. out til 4.15 almost dark. Tons and tons of cards, unmanagable packets and im struggling with ips due to the wonder of double slotting. Will not be doing a minutes worth of overtime tomorrow. First letter at 11.20... Phoned office at 1.50 and no answer.

Re: The "How was your day" thread.
Heavy again today but was out on time and only went an hour over. Had a customer come up to me asking about some missing packets, seems the massive bundle of play.com packets I gave to the driver got delivered to the wrong road
. Fortunately they were honest and walked round to the correct house with them but the customer is still expecting something that's not arrived and can't help but wonder if it's missing
