We had a york of walk sorted come down on the 12'oclock,looks nasty tomorrow.

Have top admit flats are light though, but letters through the roof so lighter bag as packets are being done by drivers.

So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat

Worked over my time again today, as I did yesterday (day off Monday but I believe it was very busy too). And just before any thinks it - I'm fast at prepping and fairly quick on my feet when delivering but I'm not a runner nor do I work through my break etc..
Either some people are on easy walks or they deliver to "certain areas" that don't get much Christmas mail.. I can see this Christmas being profitable for me if the volume of mail stays as it has been this week!!!

Have to agree with the heading, not so busy yet and with all the panic measures put in place and the 20 extra casual staff it's not been too bad, so far.

Done my first pressure overtime for a long time on Tuesday and Wednesday this week, normally I would cut off, but guess I'm just an ol softie deep down !

Day off today and still no delivery and I am the first call on a rural dely, so I think it must be a tad busier again today !

It's the same every year (at least it has been for the last 13 xmases in my DO). There are plenty of cards and packets, but a lot of the garbage stops and there are very few large flats.

Also there's no missort run so we get out earlier, which is mainly why xmas has always been the time of year when I get finished earlier than any other.

Packets done by drivers. Our drivers throw out all they can get away with and then try to stitch eachother up.
