We need the public on OUR side ladies and gents. If WE go out now we will lose public support and we will be the bad guys.
As far as i am concerned, also the majority of my office, we are still involved in an industrial dispute thats why 90% are not working their day off.
We received our "pressure" hours and we got 3 hours from tomorrow for a delivery postman/woman until Christmas eve.
To be honest thats 3 hours more than i thought we would get but that comes no-where near what we will lose in D2D payments.
The CWU were near agreement before we 1st went out,if i remember correctly,at the beginning of October.
So it looks to be a certain area of the south east that are calling for the strikes to resume.
Everyone apart from the south east knows this IS NOT going to happen ,thats why this so called petition has very little support.
If we go out in the new year leading up to the next general election then it gets political.
Then and only then will the TRUTH come out. Then and only then should the CWU call an all-out strike!!

I cant work out if the CWU are in cahoots with RM executives, Taking backhanders or just gutless!! We all lost pay in the last strikes with no possitive outcome. The same is happening now. The union seem to be shafting the workers just as much as RM are. I used to enjoy working for RM but now dread every day of work, and that is the general feeling in our office. This is something that is only going to get worse with such a guttless union running the show.

After last nights Panorama who knows we may have just been given the edge in public support against RM tactics.
WE ALL KNOW THE sh***s COMING just when is Hayes & Co going to wake up and take a deep breath and smell it .

I started the thread as I was asked to by one of the originators and the rep for my place of work. I personally have not signed it but I will support a strike if asked to do so, however they chances of strikes before Christmas is slim to none so please don't panic.
