Punk band Dead Kennedys song. Do these words sound familiar?

"At My Job"

If your machine might slip a gear
Push this button to help it clear
Your time card says your name's Joe
But we'll call you 6-3-0

[Chorus]
I'm working at my job
I'm so happy
More boring by the day
But they pay me
All that time spent going to school
Just to end up following-rules
[Chorus]
Now it's time to take a break
Don't stray too far or you'll be late
Thank you for your service and a long career
Glad you gave us your best years

Thought for the day..................

Life at work is like a tree full of monkeys, all on different limbs at different levels.

Some monkeys are climbing up, some down.

The monkeys on top look down and see a tree full of smiling faces.

The monkeys on the bottom look up and see nothing but assholes!

Apologies to the hundreds of people who have had problems signing Stoke Socialist Party's on-line petition to reinstate Dave Condliffe.

We think we have now sorted the technical problems so please take the time to sign up ASAP at www.stokesocialistparty.org.uk

Must have got him mixed up with someone else

Apologies on the Mr Neal bit, must have got him mixed up with someone else I came across.

Stand together as a DO and don't let management or the union screw you over. Good luck and stand by what you believe in.

F0zzie over & out

How many managers are members of Amicus?

Post by F0zziebear »

I'm not sure how many managers who are crossing the pick line are members. My experience suggested that less and less managers joined Amicus as they didn't seem to do anything for them, as compared to the CWU.

I could be wrong on that one!

I don't think it matters whether they're members or not.
They will cross it either way,in all fairness most of them are forced to.
And no doubt a few on Docket.
But it's their attitude when they're there
:evil/mad
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
