Royal Fail -A Great Place To Work At Christmas, LOL

Post by hubbahubba »

we were meant to have 32 casuals start this morning,of which 16 actually bothered turning up!!Shows what an easy job it is i spose in these times of strife. When the strike's were on i heard plenty of "its an easy job,i'd do it"seems the truth is a little different :Very Happy .Also was told that a few casuals are only 16,and as such are not allowed to push yorks or tip bags under HS law, whats the point in employing them then! You couldnt make it up!! :whistle :cuppa
same as it ever was...

You should count yourself lucky to actually get any extra staff at all, we could use them in my office to do all the cut offs this year. :Very Happy

Satire and Sarcasm are wonderful things, and they get worse every year you're in this job :dance

Mail volumes are down, perhaps, but RM admit parcels are up, yes obviously they are, we can't move for them, yet we've no extra staff, no extra vans, no extra resources, no nothing, just left to get on with it all.

surprised the DIM DUM didn't come into the hospital to dump a few bags on his bed and put a DBF by the bed for when he'd come round after his operation

- A RM spokesman said " The Way we work - Effective Utilisation of Resources - It was only right and reasonable to free up a more able bodied member of staff for delivery today , thus not incurring additional expense to the business and protecting the USO " - " This has been agreed with the CWU " - " We expect our staff to work all the hours for which they are paid "
