It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: D2Ds over Christmas
Aren't we meant to do them in our own time ie prepping them and not allowed to book OT if they take you over your time on delivery, as they are an "extra" payment?antcpfc wrote:d2d's are worth £25 a week to me.They help fill my day and in R.M. time .I just don t see the problem with them. If we had one lot a day (with pay) we would have to go to every house so no lapsing.

Sorry to Hi-jack the thread there with that, but thanks for that link, I genuinely did not know that and I've been with RM for 10 years. This could open a huge can of worms at our place!!!
Thanks again.

Re: D2Ds over Christmas
Don't worry about it, it's one of those things that comes up every few weeks that management always say tht D2Ds have to be done in your own time, just print off the document and show it to you DOM and then wait for the usual 'that's an old agreement and it doesn't apply anymore' but just ask him for the one to replace it.slinger wrote:Sorry to Hi-jack the thread there with that, but thanks for that link, I genuinely did not know that and I've been with RM for 10 years. Cheers for the responses.
Thought I'd bump this instead of making a new thread. Are we due a pro-rata bonus over Christmas then? Would help seeing as there's no D2Ds to deliver!
