You know what i think most people have NO idea about what a Union is, what they were formed for And about what they should achieve? We are even in the strange situation were some people think they should be in partnership with the employer working together for the good of ? welll for the employing class! They forget that the vast majority of people have nothing in common with the emloying class other than the employing classes need to get us to make their lives even easier and wealthy at our expense and thats so sad and narrow minded. To me Unions are about a group of people that first and formost wish to look out for their own members and then the majority of the rest of people that are affected by what the Union decides! Note i say we decide! Not what a few tell us should happen and what "OUR" aspirations are but what we want! The CWU HQ have forgotten this and cant see the wood through the trees or just wish to push their own agenda through and we will all pay for it in the end but those that wish to stick up for them i would simply say oh f*ck it why waste my breath because they will never get it and just love being a bitch that wants to be slapped about and then make excuses for their weaknesses because they dont or cant stick up for themselves. Some will cling to the forlorn hope of Union democracy and our right to a say as in 2007 and i would say balls we were offered NO choice then and we wont in 2010 other than more work less pay and more job cuts! The way they at HQ will acheive this is to waste ALL we gave them to get what we want, waste the best time of the year to get it and then give us a simple yes or no with no alternative! Sc*b HQ have won again! The real question for me is not how HQ will sell us out this time but how we can avoid this in the future!

I couldn't have put it better myself linkin - the sad thing is those same people will be the PEC of the future and if they think this is the way to run a union - then God help us all.
