The thing which is disturbing is London seems to the only problem in the country. Looks like RM are going to achieve a divide and conquer. I don't think many people will walkout for London anymore. Blame the union.

it maybe just me but this LTB seems to be quite informative,in the assumption you still have to give 7 days notice to resume I/A the earliest you will be on strike is the 14 of december,half of xmas pressure has been lost.It would seem that royal mail and the cwu are getting their way,a strike free xmas.glad im out of it.

On the basis of what I have seen thus far I most certainly will not be seeking re-election as CWU IR Rep at my DO!

I, along with many other Reps, worked bloody hard to get people on board and all for what?

I had questions fired at me from all sides this morning wanting to know what the PEC decision was and on what criteria they had reached it. In reply I told them that CWU were to release the information in full today.

What do I see instead ... a summary about Reports! ffs!!!!!!

Come on CWU treat your membership with the dignity and respect they deserve and release all the information in full and let us make our own judgement on what we see before us. Much is made of the lack of trust and faith in the way RM run the business - at this point in time the very same accusation can be laid at the feet of CWU HQ in its management of the dispute and subsequent behaviour.

I've been a rep for 10 years and I am in full agreement with you. I'm fecking, angry, disappointed and disillusioned and am having serious thoughts about staying a rep, especially given the lack of support we receive nationally. I am fed up with being asked questions by my members that I just can’t answer. You'd have thought HQ would have learned something from the 2007 dispute, and done something about communicating with the membership/reps more effectively.

I also worked my nads off to make sure we got full support in my office, I was writing my own fliers, holding meetings and really going all out to make sure my members understood what this dispute was about. Now I can’t even explain why we came back, there’s no money to point at, nothing has changed in my office and my members still feel bullied and harassed.
