Bollocks as many attempts as cust requests, up till appropriate return to sender time, recorded 1 week, tracked 2 week, else 3 weeks unless specified
Not in my office. It's 3 attempts then the customer gets however long to collect (as above) before being returned to sender. Personally though i've never had a packet that's been requested redelivery more than once, when they're not in for a redelivery they tend to collect it after that.

Personally i would not do this as others have mentioned the customer can request a redelivery regardless however you deface the P739 :Very Happy

It does help that I have a van though.
And a mattress in the back no doubt :whistle after all who knows when you may come across a field of sheep and need a lie down :chuckle :chuckle -as the old song goes "A four legged friend, a four legged friend she'll never let you down, she's honest and faithful right up to the end, that wonderful one, two, three, four legged friend" :dance :dance :dance

When it comes to denials, the silence is deafening, DGP

Anyway, I bitch and moan about redelivering an item - but it will go out again and again if needs be.....the only thing I will do is put 2nd attempt / 3rd attempt / etc at the top of the 739.
I don't suppose your mouth bleeds every 28 days, does it?

Mail delivery; those that can, do, those that can't, MANAGE!

Yep i do the same :Very Happy

Most folks are in 2nd time but i do have one customer which normally takes 3 or 4 attempts, which does get on the nerves
